Jarkko Kinnunen is an Iceland based artist from Finland who works in ceramics, material science and digital art. Their works are informed by tradition, mythology and natural sciences, approaching them from the direction of both ecological and spiritual sustainability.

They use local sustainably sourced materials to make utilitarian ceramic vessels, with the intention to connect the person using the vessel with the natural world around them in their daily life.

In their digital art and experimental mixed media works they combine the figurative and the abstract to represent spirits, deities and thought forms based on their own experience with them.
